Yaavarum Kelir
This non-fiction work explores the untold history of Tamil diaspora across the world. The author examines the first Tamil settlements and reasons why these communities chose distant lands. The narrative follows Tamil laborers who worked in sugar cane, rubber, and tea plantations during the 18th-19th centuries, facing hunger, disease, and oppression. Despite severe hardships, these communities maintained their language, traditions, and cultural identity while integrating into their adopted homelands.
